Psychotherapy for University Students — and Consultation for Higher Education Leaders

Harry Rockland-Miller, Ph.D. brings 40 years of experience to his work, 22 years of which were as Director of Counseling at a major university. His current independent practice is primarily focused on services to the college and university community. The practice includes direct clinical services, as well as organizational consultation with colleges and universities on mental health service delivery, triage systems, crisis response, campus coordination and training.

The work is grounded in decades of experience inside university counseling centers and student affairs systems — and in a deep understanding of the academic, developmental, cultural, and institutional contexts in which students live and learn.

Dr. Rockland-Miller, Director Emeritus of the Center for Counseling and Psychological Health (CCPH) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, is a leader in the field of college mental health, and is a recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors.
